The word “Wájaro,” which comes from the language spoken by the Amazonian tribal group known as the Eduria, means “let’s go together” and largely captures what the Wájaro Foundation seeks to do — to walk alongside groups of people and communities interested in working for peace and justice in regions of Colombia that have historically faced various social conflicts.

“Let’s go together” is also an open invitation to individuals, churches, and organizations to walk alongside Wájaro in fulfilling its mission. There are many ways to join our work; some of these forms of collaboration have been identified, others have not, so what matters most is that we are able to listen to you.
